Southern California Hotel 20th Century Fox Studios

The studio, which was founded in 1913 by William Fox, began
in business by making Movietone Newsreels. Twenty-two years
later, Fox merged with Twentieth Century Pictures (which had
been founded in 1933 by Daryl Zanuck after he left Warner
Brothers) and the company became 20th Century Fox. Famous films
include “The Grapes of Wrath”, “Song of Bernadette”, “Miracle on 34th Street”,
“Gentleman's Agreement”, “The Sound of Music” and “Star Wars”.

For television, Fox makes “24”,  “Boston Legal”,  “Prison Break”, “The Simpsons”, “Malcolm in the Middle” and “My Name is Earl”. Past shows include “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”,  “Angel”, “Ally McBeal”, “Boston Public”, “Roswell” and “The X-Files”.

20th Century Fox Studios TV Show Tapings. While the studio doesn’t offer public tours, you do have an opportunity to be part of a studio audience for a taping of a Fox Television program.
